PTA says considering FBR choice to hinder portable SIMs for non-filers
Authority says point is to make a move remembering administrative structure, pertinent lawful arrangements
The Pakistan Telecom Authority (PTA) has said that it is right now thinking about the new choice of the Government Leading group of Income (FBR) with respect to the forbidding of cell phone SIMs of non-charge filers.
As per a FBR representative, they were in contact with the cell phone administrators and significant partners on the issue. They added that their point was to make a move remembering the administrative structure and pertinent lawful arrangements.
Any advancements with regards to this issue will be reported, the representative added.
It ought to be noticed that the Government Leading body of Income (FBR) on Tuesday requested to impede the portable SIMs of clients who don't record annual assessment in Pakistan. The authority gave a Personal Duty General Request and requested obstructing of portable SIMs against non-filers of expense forms.
